Company to aggressively pursue Chinese market

Nitto Shinko establishes new subsidiary in China

Japan's Nitto Shinko, a Nitto Denko company with excellent production and development capabilities in the areas of automotive, electric and electronic materials has established its first-ever non-Japan based subsidiary in Suzhou, China.

In the past Nitto Shinko has served non-Japanese customers around the world and including China by exporting products from Japan. As part of ongoing globalization efforts, the company is now hoping to achieve a significant expansion of sales in
China. Nitto Shinko is determined to improve its local customer service in terms of product quality, cost and delivery. Aggressive sales targets have been set which would see sales in China rise from the current two billion yen annually to 7.5 billion yen by 2015.

After the recent natural disasters in Japan and Thailand, Nitto is also eager to diversify its production bases to lessen the impact of any such events occurring in the future and to mitigate any supply interruptions or adverse impacts on our customers around the globe.
