Japan's leading diversified materials manufacturer Nitto Denko Corporation and its group companies (“Nitto Denko”) announced today it has pledged 100 million Japanese yen to support relief and recovery efforts in northeastern Japan impacted by the ferocious earthquake and tsunami on March 11.

In addition to this commitment, Nitto Denko will support the charitable efforts of its employees of some 100 group companies worldwide, with a 100% match of their donations.

The company will also make an in-kind donation of its products including reverse osmosis membranes for drinking water purification, surgical tapes and disposable pocket warmers, in light of the context of the situation, and needs of the victims and their communities.

Nitto Denko and its employees extend heartfelt condolences to those suffered from these devastating events, and send our thoughts, prayers and best wishes for swift recovery of the affected regions.
